What is organic search engine optimization?

Organic, Search Engine Optimization (also called Natural SEO). is the process of altering your site to make it more search engine friendly.
This involves nearly all aspects of a websites design, including navigation, textual content, and the pages meta tags. It can also involve making improvements to the site in general to improve usability if this is an issue. Keyword research is used to identify profitable and high traffic relevent keywords, and the site is then optimised for these keywords to ensure indexing by major search engines.

Why is SEO important?

Search engine optimization is important for a number of reasons including:

  • 36 percent of internet users correlate top search positions with superiority
  • 60 – 70 percent of all search engine traffic is recieved via natural listings
  • 90 percent of natural search traffic is recieved by the top five results
