The story Of My List Building Failure

Oh, I have plenty of lists on my forums, on my several eMail boxes and thousands of people on my friends’ lists on social networking or so-called downline clubs scattered all over the net.

So, where did I go wrong?

Simply put: If you can’t manage all your lists, you don’t reallly have a list.

Early on I became awarehaving your own lists was equivalent to success on the Net.

But it has always been a struggle for me. The ability to develop a true marketing list (like the ones the gurus have) has always eluded me.

But, this is not as easy as you might think, especially if you are promoting other people’s products.

To create your huge mailing lists, you need auto responders, sales/capture pages with your own OTO offers and a big advertising budget or JV actions.

Some Online marketers settle for safelists, downline building and/or social networking sites for their list building.

Despite the claims, I could not understand how safelists could produce any good results when people have thousands of daily promo messages gathering dust in their off-shore spam boxes they never read. Read the rest of this entry
